The Buxton Board of Selectmen shall govern use of the three-line informational portion of the Municipal office sign. The following outlines the Sign Use Policy:

The informational sign shall be used for posting Town Business notices (examples: notice of public hearings, Town Meetings, Planning and Appeals Board meetings and other Town sponsored Committee meetings); |

Other Town sponsored events may be posted on a space available basis per order of the Selectmen; |
• |
The sign will not be used to announce private events in Town; |
• |
On occasion the Board of Selectmen may permit the use of the Town Sign for events deemed appropriate. |
The public sign information will be modified on a weekly basis as necessary. This policy will be reviewed annually to make sure it is meeting the needs of the Town and residents.
