What is Buxton's form of Government?
The Town of Buxton has an elected Board of five Selectmen, with an Annual Town Meeting in June and a Town Charter.  Buxton does not have a Town Manager.

When is the Annual Town Meeting?
The Annual Town Meeting date is the second Tuesday in June for the election of Town Officers and any referendum questions place on the ballot.  The polls are normally open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the election of the Moderator at 5:30 AM.  The remaining questions/warrant articles, often referred to as the business meeting is held on the following Saturday starting at 9:00 AM.  These meetings are held at the Buxton Town Hall, 185 Portland Road.
