The Code Enforcement Officer provides information and conducts inspections to instill the safety, health and public welfare through structural strength and stability, means of egress, adequate light and ventilation and protection to life and property from fire and hazardous incident to the design, construction, alteration, removal or demolition of buildings and structures. His other responsibilities include enforcing the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances, Plumbing Inspector and the issuance of necessary permits.
