Please remember to check the following to help ensure a safe winter:
*Make sure the oil tank is properly protected and on a solid foundation.
*House numbers are clearly posted and visible from the road.
*Smoke detectors & carbon monoxide detectors are working properly and
replaced.
*All access doors are kept clear inside and out.
*Keep an access path clear to fuel oil fill & vents .
*Mailbox should be at least 45” high and 5 feet back from the edge of the road
and marked with reflective numbers to prevent the snowplow from hitting it.
*Wood ashes should only be placed in a covered metal container.
