2026 Dog Licenses Available Now

Today is the first day to license your dog for 2026!
Dog licenses can be completed multiple ways:
- In-person at the Buxton Town Hall during regular business hours
- Over the phone (if we have current rabies info) at 207-929-5191
- Online at the following link: https://www.maine.gov/dacf/ahw/animal_welfare/doglicense/index.shtml
*** To license your dog online, you are now required to upload a PDF of your dog’s rabies certificate. ***
The online cost for new dog licenses or renewals:
- Altered: $8.75
- Unaltered: $13.75
Included in the online license cost is a $1 transaction fee and a $1.75 shipping/handling fee.
