Starting on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 8:30 am:

Town of Buxton candidate nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk’s Office for the following positions to be voted on at the June 9, 2026 Annual Town Meeting.

Two - Selectmen, Assessors and Overseers of the Poor for 3 years
One - Town Clerk for 3 years
One - Planning Board Member for 3 years
One - Planning Board Member for 1 year
Two - Budget Committee Members for 3 years

Friday, April 10, 2026 by 4:30 pm:

Candidate nomination papers must be filed in the Town Clerk’s Office.

Tuesday, June 9, 2026 Election Day:

Annual Town Meeting secret ballot voting day, polls open 6 AM to 8 PM, Buxton Town Hall, 185 Portland Road. The polls will also be open for the State of Maine Primary, MSAD #6 District Budget Validation Referendum and the MSAD #6 District Directors Election. Absentee ballots will be available by May 11th.

Saturday, June 13, 2026 Annual Town Meeting Continued:

Annual Town Meeting continued, 9 AM, Buxton Town Hall, 185 Portland Road. Voters must be present to vote, no absentee voting on this day.
