Schedule Inspections
Please give a minimum 24-hour advance notice when requesting inspections.

The Following Inspections are Required:
Footings inspected prior to pouring the cement.
Foundations
Prior to backfilling (waterproofing must be complete and all drains and rocks in place).
Framing
Can be combined with electrical and/or plumbing rough-in inspection.
Electrical
The Town of Buxton does not issue permits or inspect electrical. A Master electrician must complete the final inspection and report directly to the State.
Plumbing
All before closing the walls in.
External Wastewater Disposal Systems:
Two inspections are required:
1. Pre bed inspection
2. Final inspection (prior to backfilling)
Final Inspection:
A final inspection is required prior to Occupancy.
