Drawdown of West Buxton Headpond Postponed

Brookfield White Pine Hydro’s plans to draw down the West Buxton Project headpond to facilitate installation of the new public boat launch has been postponed due to numerous rain delays, high river flow conditions, and challenging wetland conditions.
The drawdown is now expected to occur after the long Labor Day weekend, tentatively planned for September 5 through September 12.
